MarÃa Castellanos Vicente
MarÃa Castellanos Vicente is an artist and researcher working at the intersection of art, science, technology, and society. She is currently working as a postdoc researcher at Oslo Metropolitan University in the Project „Futures of Living Technologies“ (FeLT). She holds a Doctorate in Contemporary Arts Practices from the University of Vigo (Spain) and received an Extraordinary PhD Award in 2016 for her dissertation The Bionic Skin: Technological Membranes as Body Interfaces in Artistic Practice. Her artistic practice focuses on human sensory boundaries and the creation of complex systems which promote communication and understanding between humans and non-human beings.
