Eyal Peretz
Eyal Peretz is Assistant Professor of Comparative Literature at Indiana University. He works at the intersection of literary theory, philosophy, psychoanalysis, and film theory. His publications include: Literature, Disaster, and the Enigma of Power: A Reading of Moby-Dick (Stanford: Stanford UP, 2003); Becoming Visionary: Brian De Palma’s Cinematic Education of the Senses (forthcoming, Stanford UP). He is also co-editor of The Claims of Literature: The Shoshana Felman Reader (forthcoming, New York: Fordham UP).Â
