Arthur Rose is a researcher in the Wellcome Centre for Cultures and Environments of Health at the University of Exeter, where he contributes to the Wellcome Trust funded Shame and Medicine and the UKRI-AHRC funded Scenes of Shame and Stigma in COVID-19 projects. His most recent book, Asbestos – The Last Modernist Object, is out with Edinburgh University Press in July 2022.Â
