Jamille Pinheiro Dias

Jamille Pinheiro Dias is Director of the Centre for Latin American and Caribbean Studies at the School of Advanced Study, University of London, where she is also a Senior Lecturer. She is currently leading a British Academy Global Innovation Fellowship in Brazil and has held visiting professorships and research positions at Duke University, the University of Manchester, Brown, Stanford, and the University of São Paulo. Her work focuses on translation studies, environmental issues, Amazonian cultural production, and Indigenous arts in Latin America. She has published in Environmental Humanities, the Journal of Latin American Cultural Studies, Radical History, among others.
