Ferial J. Ghazoul

Ferial J. Ghazoul received her doctorate degree in Comparative Literature from Columbia University. She is teaching at the Department of English and Comparative Literature at the American University in Cairo and has published works on medieval and contemporary literatures, including Nocturnal Poetics: „The Arabian Nights” in Comparative Context. Kairo: American University of Cairo Press, 1996. She is the Editor of Alif: Journal of Comparative Poetics.
